If you want to be at the wildest place in Sturgis and don't need alot of sleep or private showers this is the place. $100.00 gets you two weeks of camping (Tent per person). As their web site states there's lots of shade and plenty of outhouses and lots to do. The campground is just outside Sturgis across from the Full Throttle Saloon (Bonus). This is huge because there are many times you don't want to go into any Sturgis traffic and want to do something. You can kill lots of time at the Full Throttle. You then just cross the street when your ready to go home. This place is also close to the Buffalo Chip so if you want to see a show you can do so without traffic jams. Best of all is the wilder side. There's a road running through the campground which has been dubbed "Titty alley" Lets just say that anything you aren't seeing in town you'll see parading up and down the road from 7:00pm until everyone leaves which can be quite late. The campground also has pretty good chow. They have case and single beer sales and an easy entry to the Sturgis drag strip. If you want to be close to things and be in the wilder part of town Glencoe can't be beat. A word of advice. If you plan to participate in the evening activities locate your tent in an area with a street light. The motorcycle only area is very dark at night and is at the end of the run so you won't see as much. If you wind up in this area then grab a case of beer and walk down to the area where the RV people have their elaborate setup. People are cool so just offer them a beer and they'll let you hang out.
