First let me say that in my three trips to
Sturgis 1997,2001, and 2002, i've learned that there are two sides to
Sturgis. Each side depends on what you want to get out of the
experience. The first is a relaxing motorcycle oriented vacation where
you try to see the most motorcycle stuff and experience the most comfort IE:
Less noise, more ammenities etc. The second is the wild side of
things. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of motorcycle stuff here as
well but there is an emphasis on sacraficing comfort for a whole lot of
craziness. Which you choose depends on your taste and what you may be
seeking. Some may have wanted to mix the experiences. Hopefully
this site will point the way for you next year and you can pick and choose.
